Annie Rita Naquin Gauthreaux, T.O.C., age 70 entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 6, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Albert Carroll Gauthreaux, Sr., T.O.C. Daughter of the late Joseph Naquin and Mary Ophelia Billiot Naquin. Devoted mother of Christopher Matthew Gauthreaux (former Cynthia by 1st marriage and Somony by second marriage), Merrie Angela Gauthreaux Barrilleaux (Don) and the late Albert Gauthreaux, Jr. Loving Grandmother of Tabitha Enamorado (Fernando), Pattie Gauthreaux, Matthew Barrilleaux, Wendy Gauthreaux, Joseph Gauthreaux and the little angel in Heaven. Beloved Great Greatmother of Treasa Guyle, Kieran Guyle and Lawrence Guyle. Loving sister of Rita Savoya, Eva McNabb, Kirby Naquin, Joseph Naquin and the late Percy Naquin, Edna Carroll, Celestine Naquin, Leona Perkins, Andrew Naquin, James Naquin and a little angel in Heaven. Annie was born in New Orleans; raised in Harahan and was a resident of Avondale and Westwego, LA. She was a member of the Third Order of Carmelites, Apostleship of Our Lady, Mary’s Helpers and she was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Avondale, LA. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
