Anthony J. Guerrera, Jr., “Tony Guerrera from Marrero” departed this life at the age of 83 on Friday, December 16, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Odellie R. Guerrera. Loving father of Anthony Guerrera III (Wife Mary), Maria R. Tremor, Jacinta A. Graham, Lorraine G. Perrin (Husband Ricky), Ronda G. Gros (Husband Calvin, Sr.), Santo R. Guerrera and the late Joseph S. Guerrera and Carolyn S. Constantino. Survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sibling, Sebastian J. Guerrera and the late Mary Olsen. Son of the late Edna R. and Anthony J. Guerrera, Sr. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a part of a generation that proudly served this country in World War II and in the Korean War. Among many other endeavors, he has served his New Orleans community as a fire fighter for many years. No doubt, you will always be loved and missed infinitely. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, December 19, 2011 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM.
