Arlynn Mine Plaisance passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Beloved wife of George J. Plaisance, Jr. for 45 years. Mother of George J. Plaisance, III (Kim) and Ginger P. Cancienne (Travis). Grandmother of Austin and Kody Plaisance. Daughter of John H. Mine, Sr. and the late Florence Winters Mine. Sister of John H. Mine, Jr. (Carol), Terri M. Cortez (Sonny), and Denise Mine. Daughter-in-law of the late Marvin R. Paugh and Amelia S. Paugh. Sister-in-law Raymond Wattigney (Lisa), and the late Linda Kline (the late Errol) and the late Karen Trosclair (Jeffery “Rock”). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Age 62 years, a native of New Orleans and resident of Gretna, LA. As a young lady she was an accomplished gymnast winning several competitions. She was a wonderful and devoted wife and loving and caring mother, sister, and friend. She will be missed by all.
