Arthur Joseph Andry passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Beloved husband of Joan Silver Andry for 47 years. Father of Rachel Andry, Bethany Lescale (James), and the late Jeanne Lamia. Grandfather of Jonathan and Joseph Lamia, Leonora "Ellie" Andry, and Barret Arthur Lescale. Son of the late Arthur S. Andry, Sr. and Rosemary Campo Andry. Brother of Dennis Andry and the late Albert S. Andry, Jr. and Terry Andry. Age 70 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Loranger, LA. Arthur proudly served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam, and spent his career as a chemical operator for Union Carbide and Chevron. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6369. He will deeply missed and remembered for his contagious laugh and humor, coaching his girls softball teams at Kings Grant Playground, being a fan of Saints football, and playing his favorite video game Ms. Pac-Man.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 9 AM until 1 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marrero, LA at 1:30 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
