Arthur Joseph Hebert on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 peacefully went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving wife of 64 years, Alice Schouest Hebert along with his daughters, grandson and the staff of Courtyard Retirement Center. Loving father of Jan Hebert Lockstedt (husband, Alan), Denise Hebert Noonan (husband, the late Jimmy), and the late Jay Anthony Hebert. Grandfather of Jared LaMaison (wife, Kelly). Great-grandfather of Landon Jay, Jaxon Thomas, Kennedy Rose and Chase Michael. Brother of Ann Hebert Scheffler (husband, Gary), the late Sherman Hebert (wife, Thelma), Glenda Hebert and Antoinette Hebert Toups. Son of the late Arthur Peter Hebert Jr. and Edith Elliott Hebert. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Arthur proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. As an entrepreneur, he owned and operated several businesses in Marrero, most notably American Aquatic Supply, Inc., a marine diving and industrial supply company.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
