Arthur T. Morvant, Sr.

Arthur T. Morvant, Sr. entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Edith Gros Morvant. Loving father of Arthur T. “Tugboat” Morvant, Jr. (Sherry). Grandfather of Shelby Bealer (Robert). Son of the late Eves Morvant and the late Elvie Guidroz. Brother of Melvina Theriot, Mac Morvant, Linda Parent, Doyce “Buster” Phipps Jr., Ricky Phipps. Joanie Elkins, Melanie Skinner, Sandy Gisclair, Clyde “Bubby” Phipps, Eves “Jay” Phipps, Teddy Morvant, Judy Cashman and the late Patsy Kospelich and Louis Morvant, Sr. Godfather of Elvira, Darren, Shane, Stephanie and Jamie. Brother-in-law of Joyce Guillot (Lee Ray, Sr.), Joyce Gros (Louis, Jr.) and June Craven (Jimmy). Arthur is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM. A private interment will be held at a later date.
