Ashley Lynn Christen

Ashley Lynn Christen, beloved daughter, mother, partner, aunt, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on March 9, 2024. She was born on May 24, 1987, in New Orleans, LA.

Ashley was a remarkable individual who dedicated her life to her family. As a devoted stay-at-home mother, she poured her heart and soul into creating a loving and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Her caring, kind, and welcoming personality touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her life-long partner David Freeman; step-son Kyle Freeman; step-daughter Kammie Freeman; daughters Elizabeth Freeman and Eliana Freeman; mother Dawn Christen; sister Brittany Masterson; sister Jennifer Carson; brother-in-law Richard Carson; grandparents, Keith Chouest and Patricia Chouest. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ashley is reunited in heaven with her father Dean Christen, grandfather Lester Christen, and grandmother Mary Christen, where they will watch over their cherished family from above.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation service to honor and celebrate Ashley's life. The visitation will take place on March 23, 2024, at Marrero - Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC in Marrero, LA. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM.

Ashley will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love and warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy of compassion and dedication lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
