Ashton J. Dufrene

Ashton J. Dufrene entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the age of 92. Beloved and loving husband of 73 years to Celestine D. Dufrene. Son of the late Wilfred Dufrene and Leontine Matherne Dufrene. Beloved and devoted father of Johnny Dufrene (Wife Trudy), Will Dufrene (Wife Toni), Karl Dufrene (Wife Paulette), Penny Murillo (Husband Carlos), Rachel LeBlanc and the late AJ Dufrene (Survived by wife Phyllis). Ashton is survived by his sister, Krese Triche as well as 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by 10 siblings. He was born in Louisiana and resided in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
