Audrey Ann Roddy Marcotte passed away peacefully and went to be with her lord and savior on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Raymond J. Marcotte for the past 32 years. Loving mother of Samuel L. Steele III, Donald E. Steele and Zelda Gillan Steele. Step mother of Michael Marcotte, Mark Marcotte (Debbie), Tina Dedeaux (Wayne) and Sandra Fairley (John).Daughter of the late Haise Roddy and Laura Piazza Constant. Sister of Dora L. DeSalvo. Godmother of Karen DeSalvo. Survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Marcotte was employed with Derbigny Hair Salon and a member of Heritage Church. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11AM. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Westwego, LA. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 9 AM until service time.
