Audrey Scelson Monjure

Audrey Ann Scelson Monjure passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Anthony Joseph Monjure, Sr. Mother of Anthony J. Monjure, Jr. (Tara), Timothy G. Monjure, Audrey Ann Falcone (Chuck), John C. Monjure (April), and twins Barbara M. Goldstein (Brian) and Barry G. Monjure. Grandmother of Tony III, Jessica, India, Timmy Jr., Ashley, Mia, Charles, Olivia, Jillian, Cruz, Kaitlyn, Joshua, Cierra, and the late Vanessa. Great-grandmother of Nathan, Preston, and Gracie. Daughter of the late John Henry Scelson, Jr. and Genevieve Appel Scelson. Sister of Pat Hynes, Warren Scelson, Paul Scelson, and the late John H. Scelson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery #1, New Orleans, LA. Parlors will be open Tuesday evening from 6PM until 10PM and on Wednesday morning from 8 AM until 11 AM. Mrs. Audrey believed flowers were for the living, to honor her wishes, the family requests masses, prayers, or donations to defrey funeral expenses.
