Audrey Fitzgerald Smith passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of Teddy Smith for 61 years. Mother of Suzette Adams (Michael) and the late Michael Anthony Smith. Daughter of the late Aimee Jarreau Fitzgerald and Gus Fitzgerald, Jr. Sister of Douglas Fitzgerald and the late Gary Fitzgerald. Grandmother of Lisa Morgan (James) , Suzette Smith Meynard (Jeremy), and Waylon Adams (Courtney Granger). Great grandmother of Clayton Desport Jr., James Morgan IV, and Baylee Meynard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. She was born in Hermitage, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Venice, LA until moving to Marksville, LA then finally settling in Houma, LA. Relatives and Friends of family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11am.
