Audrey Duffy Hansen Woolen a native of Gretna LA passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012. Audrey was a graduate of Sophie Newcomb College and taught in Jefferson Parish for many years. Audrey was a lifelong member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Ethel Jackson Duffy, her son Ole Berg Hansen, Jr., her husband by first marriage Ole Berg Hansen, her husband Jack Eugene Woolen and her sister Ethel Duffy Clasen. Audrey is survived by her children, Christopher Alan Hansen and Ellen Enders Hansen and her grandson Colin Christopher Hansen. Audrey is also survived by her nieces, nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews who will miss Aunt Audrey. A celebration of her life will be held at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11 AM with visitation from 10AM until the service time. Pastor Larry Beane will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 418 4th Street, Gretna LA 70053.
