Barbara Jean Aguilar

Barbara Jean Burger Aguilar passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at the age of 66 years. Beloved wife of Ignacio Paul Aguilar. Mother of Paul, John and David Aguilar. Daughter of the late Daisy Henderson Burger and William D. Burger. Sister of Charlotte Ayo, William Burger, Bruce Burger, and Dewana Forrester. Grandmother of Christopher Taylor, Chad Adams, Gabriella Aguilar, David Aguilar, Jr. and Isabella Aguilar. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of Waggaman, LA and the Treasurer of 1st Baptist Church of Waggaman. Relatives and friends of the family also members of 1st Baptist Church of Waggaman, parishoners of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church and members of Knight of Columbus Council No. 13349 are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 12noon at 1st Baptist Church of Waggaman, 401 Azalea Drive. Visitation will be held at church from 10am until funeral time. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Waggaman. A memorial mass will follow interment at St. Marks Catholic Church in Ama, LA.
