Barbara Ann Raffray Bladsacker passed into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Albert George Bladsacker, Sr. Cherished mother of Albert “Doody” Bladsacker, Jr. (Jane), Steven G. Bladsacker (Nancy), Rhonda B. Tingle (Robby), Mark S. Bladsacker, and Brandon L. Bladsacker (Shelly Lanier). Adoptive mother of Loretta D. Camus (Ernest). Grandmother of Janae Carmadelle (Jared), Jessica Mc Coslin, Robby Jay and Ryan Tingle, Jacob, Jace, Julia, Kaycie, Cory, and Amber Bladsacker. Adoptive grandmother of Ernie and Scott Camus. Step grandmother of Timmy and Toby Stewart. Great grandmother of Jared, Jr. and Jaci Carmadelle, Jaila and Bretly McCoslin, Kiley and Kaleb Tingle, Eden Bladsacker and Ava Bergeron. Daughter of the late Fabien “Bean” and Eva Landry Raffray. Beloved sister of Beverly Solar, Fay Delaune, Carroll Raffray, and the late Jerry Raffray, Sr., Shirley Crochet, Audrey Hebert and Gary Paul Raffray . Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Age 77 years. Born on the day of January 12, 1939. A native of White Castle, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. for the past 45 years. She devoted her life to being a loving homemaker to her husband and children. Her greatest pleasures was having a house full of family and friends, sitting around drinking coffee, cooking, and sharing her memories of her childhood with her family. She especially loved to share her memories of dancing and cherished times with her “Honey”. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey, La. 70058 on Monday, August 22, 2016 @ 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Gretna, La. Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
