Barbara Cargol "Bobbie" Heitmeier

Barbara May “Bobbie” Cargol Heitmeier of Algiers, LA passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:30 PM. She was born on March 21, 1926 and was 86 years of age. Daughter of the late Florence Bertin and Francis Cargol. Sister of the late Frances “Tot” Naquin. Beloved wife of the late Dewey J. Heitmeier. Mother of Francis C. Heitmeier (Rai Lynn), Captain Robert D. “Bobby” Heitmeier (Patricia) and Senator David R. Heitmeier, O.D. (Cathy). Grandmother of Captain Cory, Captain Cody, Blake, Leah, Kurt, Meghan and Ross Heitmeier. Great-grandmother of Nolan Heitmeier. Bobbie was retired from the Second City Court in Algiers. Relatives, friends, employees and retirees of Second City Court of New Orleans, members of the Stonebridge Monthly Bingo Club, A.A.R.P. and patrons of Scissors Salon are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 500 Eliza Street in Algiers on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 Noon.
