Barbara Thibodeaux Jones

Barbara Thibodeaux Jones, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on March 24, 2025 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of 63 years to Elvis “Buddy” Jones. Loving father of Vicky Jones Ledet (the late Carl) and the late Todd Michael Jones. Grandmother of Laine K. Ledet (Joey), the late Joshua M. Ledet and Carl J. Wilson (Stacy). Great-grandmother of Hayden J. Pecarrere, Carlie A. Wilson and Caitlyn A. Wilson. Sister of Beverly Galliano (Ronald), Faye Danos (the late Golzie), the late Rita Haydel (Abner), and the late Robert Thibodeaux (the late Janice). Daughter of the late Mayola Bergeron Thibodeaux and the late John Lawrence Thibodeaux. Also survived by Cindy and Gail along with loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She had so many good friends with her Po-Ke-No club and enjoyed her time with all of them. She was an avid dancer and enjoyed dancing and attended all of Vicky and Laine’s dance reviews. She will be sadly missed.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Hospice Compassus, especially Peggy, for the care and compassion during this difficult time.

Visitation will take place at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
