Barbara Crawford Pace

Barbara C. Pace, age 71, passed away on May 2, 2023. Loving wife of the late Donald G. Pace for 44 years and mother of Tina P. Sasso (Julius), Beverly Pace, Tommy Pace, Christopher Pace (Michele), Shannon Pace (Nathaniel), Donna P. Rodrigue (Weldon), and the late Tracy L. Pace. Grandmother of Sean, Michael, and Brian Sasso; Angel Barrios; Michael Rodrigue Jr.; Avery and Nathan Dardar; Ebony Hoover; Kristen, Amber, and Christopher Pace; Stephen Crawford; and Weldon Rodrigue Jr. Barbara was born on December 21, 1951 in Talladega, AL to the late Luther Crawford Sr. and the late Maggie Thornton Crawford. Sister of Edna Sherry (James), Roger Crawford (Linda), Paul Crawford, Billy Crawford, James Crawford, the late Ralph Crawford, the late Luther Crawford Jr., the late Odell Crawford, the late Theresa Galloway, and the late Janice Fournier. Barbara is survived by a tremendous amount of nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly. She dedicated her life as a homemaker and to raising her seven children and being the greatest grandmother to her grandchildren whom she treated like her own children. A special thanks to her three nieces that she held close to her heart Stacey Howard, Kathy Fournier, and Melissa Hale. She was also Nanny to Jesusita Berrios whom she loved dearly. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on May 13, 2023 at 1:30PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Exp.., in Harvey. Visitation will begin at 10AM. Cremation to follow.
