Barbara Whittington Disotell Pomacino passed away on July 27, 2015. Beloved wife of the late James "Jimmy" Pomacino. Former wife of the late Alfred "Sonny" Disotell, Jr. Mother of Lisa Addison (Allen), Darrell Disotell (Trish), Gordon Disotell, Sr. (Sherry), John "Greg" Disotell, Neil Disotell (Jennifer), and Gary Disotell, Sr. Grandmother of 20, great-grandmother of 22, great-great-grandmother of 8, and one late grandchild. Daughter of the late Hazel Ducote Whittington and John Whittington. Sister of Martha Durham (late Bobby), Dorothy Taylor (late George), Myra Matherne (Roland), and John Whittington (Kathy). Step-sister of Paulette Hymel (Ken) and Stephanie Pearce. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Slidell, LA for the last 3 years.
