Barbara C. Tardiff

September 14, 1941 — November 17, 2023

Barbara Jane Connell Tardiff passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the past 58 years to the late Wayne Albert Tardiff Sr. Loving mother of Stephen Tardiff (Laura), Mechelle Tardiff, Wayne Tardiff (Lynne), and Jennifer Tardiff Estrada (Wallace Borne). Grandmother of Abigail Tardiff Danna, Jared Tardiff, Rachel Estrada, Wayne Tardiff III, Noah Tardiff, Matthew Tardiff, Austin Estrada, and Grace Tardiff. Sister of Patrick Connell (Pamela). Also survived by Michael Connell along with other loving relatives and friends.

She served her country in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman. She graduated from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with two separate Master’s degrees. She was also a substitute teacher. She always loved working with children at the Church and was talented with crafts, sewing, and painting. She touched the lives and hearts of so many and will be sadly missed.

Memorial Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2401 General DeGaulle Drive, New Orleans, LA 70114 on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 5:00 pm.
