Barney "Bud" Welborn

Barney “Bud” Welborn passed away on August 5, 2012 at the age of 73 years. He is a native of Laurel, MS, resided in Harvey, LA and is a U.S. Army veteran. Beloved husband of 50 years to Sylvia Borne Welborn. Father of Kevin Arnold (Lesley), Patsy Welborn Gainey (Danny) and Wendy Welborn Rhodes (Byron). Grandfather of Shane Gainey (Amelie), Jennifer Rhodes, Kristen Jordon (Eric) and Stephanie Arnold. Great-grandfather of Olivia Gainey and Gunner Jordon. Brother of Ollie Goodman, Martha Johnson, Virginia Johnson, the late Wynona Holloway and Eudell Welborn. Son of the late Arnold Welborn and Naomi Thrasher Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. Services will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale.
