Barry Lloyd Carbo

Barry Lloyd Carbo, age 66 of Belle Chasse, LA entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 3, 2012. Mr. Carbo was born in New Orleans, and raised in Marrero, LA. He resided in Belle Chasse, LA and was the owner for over 30 years of Barry's Barber Shop. At his barber shop he worked alongside Bridgette DeChristopher for close to 24 years. She was a great and loyal co-worker and a dear friend of the family. Mr. Carbo enjoyed hunting and golfing and was a member of the Dew Busters Golf Club.
Mr. Barry Carbo was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lee Dugas Carbo and his father Lloyd Joseph Carbo (L.J.). He is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Sandy) McQueen Carbo; two daughters, Shannon Carbo Vicknair (Eddie), and Tricia Carbo Smith (Paul); two stepsons, Kevin Michael Johnson (Kristy), and Curt Michael Johnson (Lindy); four grandchildren, Cortney and Garret Vicknair; Parker and Ellee Smith; five step grandchildren, Paul Smith Jr. (Tricia & Paul), Kelsey, Kamryn, Kloe and Kaydyn Johnson (Kevin & Kristy); his sister Sandra Carbo Robin (Danny), and his brother Ricky Carbo; along with three nieces. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 9 AM until Funeral Service time at 11 AM.
