Bartolo "Sal" Aguda

Bartolo S. “Sal” Aguda, age 79 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Beloved son of the late Bartolo G. Aguda and Rita Huber Aguda. Brother of Laura Mesko, Elizabeth Garland (Steve), Rosemary Finn (Dr. Richard), Stephen Aguda (Arlene) and the late Margaret Eymard and Madeline Aguda. Uncle of Lila DeBlanc, Britt Aguda, Benjamin Aguda, Stephen Aguda, Jr., Sarah Barnhill, Guy Finn, Richard Pitre, Michael Pitre, Tenille Eymard, Ted Eymard and Natalie Hester. Great Uncle of Daniel Glenn as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Godfather of Daniel Glenn. Sal was a dear friend of Bertha Lapine. He is also survived by his beloved felines. Sal worked at Martin Marietta, Michoud Facility until his retirement. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 11AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
