Bernadine Charrier Sams

Bernadine Charrier Sams, age 85 of Marrero, LA passed away Monday, December 11, 2023. She was born November 15, 1938, the only child of Destor Charrier and Therese Juneau Charrier. She was raised in Bordelonville, LA. She is preceded in death by her late husband Neil Sams and son-in-law Raymond Melvin. She is survived by her three children Dawn Melvin, Tammy Dupre (Keith)and Jeffrey Sams (Crystal). She had two grandchildren Britany Melvin and Phil Forrest, and two great-grandchildren Dillion Farrier and Lillian Forrest. Her family was everything to her!

 Bernadine retired from Genuine Parts as the customer service manager after 39 years of employment. A private Graveside Service will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna LA on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11 AM. Mothe Funeral Homes handled arrangements.
