Bernard "Bernie" Riehlmann

Bernard P. “Bernie” Riehlmann entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Mary Shaull Riehlmann. Son of the late George Riehlmann and Annie Burke Riehlmann. Father of Lisa Wasson (Husband Kevin), Mark “Chip” Riehlmann, Leslie Vedros (Husband Garry) and Lynn Thompson (Husband John). Grandfather of Jennifer Chastant (Husband Danny), Samantha Wasson, Victoria Wasson and Ian Thompson. Great Grandfather of Daniel Chastant and Zachary Chastant. Brother of the late Leonard, George, Joseph Riehlmann, Patricia Knapp, Elaine Murray and Margaret Riehlmann. Bernard is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Greenwell Springs, LA for the past 2 years. He served as Sergeant in the United States Army and was awarded a bronze star. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11AM.
