Bernice Boudreaux Carmouche

November 7, 1925 — August 30, 2015

Bernice Boudreaux Carmouche, age 89, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 30, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Nolan Carmouche, Sr. Daughter of the late Edgar Boudreaux, Sr. and Josephine Rousseau Boudreaux. Loving and devoted mother of Diane Kinler (Thomas), Nolan Carmouche, Jr. (the late Louisa), Gloria Rosenbohm (Michael), Arlene Capdeboscq (Larry), Jo Ann Hiecke (Ralph), Charles Carmouche (Susan) and the late Roland Carmouche (Survived by Darlene). Sister of the late Marie Duet, Wilbert “Bill” Boudreaux and Edgar “EJ” Boudreaux, Jr. Bernice is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 1 expectant great great grandchild as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Bernice was an active member of the VFW Post 7307 of Marrero. She was born in Labadieville, LA, was a resident of Marrero, LA and currently a resident of Luling, LA for the past 9 years. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to St. Joseph Hospice, especially Latasha and Mercie as well as the Staff of Ochsner Main Campus, 8th floor for their love and care. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 10AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
