Bernice "Nenee" DeSalvo

Bernice "Nenee" DeSalvo, 84, passed away on February 16, 2025, in Harvey, Louisiana. She was born on February 3, 1941, in Vacherie, Louisiana.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Florian Joseph Rome and Zulme’ Marie Rome, as well as her first husband, Leonard Marse. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Grazio S. DeSalvo; her children, David Marse (Eva Marse) and Sherry Morvant (Arthur "Tugboat" Morvant); her grandchildren Shelby Bealer (Robert Bealer) and Brandon Marse; and her great-grandson, Cole Bealer. 

Bernice's kindness and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 8:30AM until 10AM. Graveside Services will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Cemetery, 13281 LA-644, South Vacherie, LA 70090 on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 12 Noon.
