Betty Terrebonne Adams

Betty Terrebonne Adams, age 83 years, entered through the Gates of Heaven on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Edna Terrebonne; a brother, Wesley and 2 great great grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Adams. Betty is survived by her sister, Dorothy “Dot” Day. She left behind her best friend and a longtime companion, Vincent (Tommy) Thompson. Betty was the loving mother of 4 children, Steve (Wife Dana), Danny (Wife Brenda), Ray and Sandra Adams. She cherished her 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. She will be missed by numerous family and friends. Betty was a food server for Jefferson Parish School System, retiring after 29 years of service. We will all greatly miss “Maw Maw Betty.” We would like to say a special “Thank You” to Ray for the loving care and time he spent with Mom in her final days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 10AM until 3PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday at 3PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
