Betty Joyce Plaisance Autin

Betty Joyce Plaisance Autin passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late James J. Autin, Sr. Preceded in death by parents John and Ouida Plaisance, brother Roland Plaisance and sister Elaine Waters. She is survived by her children Debbie Autin Sandras (R.J.), James J. Autin, Jr. (Patricia), and Poochie Autin (Susan). Grandmother of Ray Sandras (Kellie), Raina Boudreaux (Mike), Rachel Palmisano, Nicole Chiasson, Courtney Autin (Trey), Janelle and Jessica Autin, Donielle Lambert (Thomas) and Delicia Boudreaux. Great Grandmother of Ross Sandras, Sr. (Jamie), Jade Sanchez (Gino), Rayven Sandras (Justin), Brittany (Henry) and Madison Sanchez (Austin), Layna Santiny (Eric), Macy (Cole) and Raya Boudreaux (Kyle), Toni and Caleb Palmisano, Gracie and Chloe Chiasson (Lex), Wyatt and Bria’nnah Bizzle, Karissa and Taylen Lambert, Keidel and Dareil Boudreaux. Great Great Grandmother of Ross Jr. Sandras, Blake Cancienne, Gia Sanchez, Henry Gill III, Eric Jackson III. She is also survived by two sisters Beverly Clark and Pam Delaune, and multiple nieces and nephews. She was a native of Lockport, La, and a resident of Westwego, La for the past 79 years. The family would like to thank caregivers Isabell Burks, Kathy Chaisson, Sharon Carragan and the 5 South Staff at WJMC. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, La, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 9am - 1:30pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30pm.
