Betty Brown Bailey passed away at Canon Hospice on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late John Lewis Bailey. Mother of Joy B. Starr, Jonathan L. Bailey, and Bill O. Bailey. Mother-in-law of Michael Starr, Cynthia Bailey and Rita Bailey. Daughter of the late Myrtle McCoskery Brown and Arthur W. Brown. Sister of the late Arthur Brown. Sister-in-law of Jean Brown. Grandmother of Jeremy Starr and Neil Starr. Great-grandmother of Nova Starr. Also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. A native of Chicago, IL and a resident of New Orleans, LA and Metairie, LA for the past 60 years. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Metairie Manor, 4929 York St., Metairie, LA on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 9 AM.
