Betty Vicknair Breckenridge

Betty Vicknair Breckenridge went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Breckenridge. Daughter of the late Vera Barrios Vicknair and Emile Vicknair. Sister of James Vicknair, Gillis Vicknair, the late Carlton and Emile Vicknair, Shirley Wilbur, Vera Gilbert, Beulah Hotard and Dorothy Graves. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was a longtime member of Faith Christian Fellowship Church, which later became West Point Church. For many years, she taught Sunday School, led the Missionette Program and served as Pastoral Assistant for many Church activities and events. She was a woman of immense faith, a dedicated servant of the Church and will be missed by all. Relatives, friends and members of West Point Church, the former Faith Christian Fellowship Church and all affiliated churches are invited to attend the visitation in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5 PM to 9 PM. Religious Services will be conducted for 7 PM. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 for 10 AM at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
