Betty Arabie Danos

Betty Arabie Danos passed away surrounded with her loving family by her side on Tuesday April 30, 2013. She was 74 years of age. She was born on January 6, 1939. She leaves behind her beloved husband and best friend of 60 years Scharld “Chuck” Danos. Her Loving and devoted children Leonard (Lola) Danos, Penny (Rodney) Guidry, Lori Danos, Corey Sr. (Cherie) Danos, and the late Kenneth Danos. Her Precious Grandchildren Lenny and Darrel (Jody) Danos, Robert, Jacob and Jade Cox, Karen and Kelly Danos, Danielle Welch, Rochelle (Mert) Guidry, Shawn and Chantelle Barrios, Corey Danos Jr. and the late Dale Ortego, her 16 treasured Great Grandchildren and her Loyal Dog Sissy. She leaves behind her siblings Dolores Henson, Morris Jr (Doris) Arabie and the late Ruth Adams also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Father Maurice Arabie Sr and Mother Thelma LeBlanc Arabie, Her Father-in-Law Adam Danos and Mother-in-Law Ester Falgout Danos.
Her family was the love and most treasured thing in her life. She was the most amazing Wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law, Grandma, Granny, and all around amazing Lady. So much for that when God seen her getting weary and it was time for him to take her home she also took a large part of our hearts with her. She will be greatly and sadly missed. God has taken our hero and inspiration above and we have comfort knowing we have an Angel protecting and watching over us from Heaven.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La. On Saturday May 4, 2013 at 1:00pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, La. Parlors will be open Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 9:00 until mass time at 1:00pm.
