Betty Quinn Hennessey

Betty Q. Hennessey of Mandeville passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Mark Hennessey; daughter of Doris B. Sanchez and the late Clifford C. Quinn, Sr.; Mother of Jude Gattuso (wife Denise) of Harahan and grandmother to Elizabeth Gattuso. Also survived by sisters Geraldine Q. Wendt and Bonnie Jacobs (husband Lester Jacobs) and brother Clifford C. Quinn, Jr (wife Lisa Quinn). Best friend of Irene Williams and Rona Martin. They, along with a number of cousins, helped Betty in her fight with mesothelioma cancer. Betty’s husband Mark and the rest of her family would like to thank all of Betty’s friends for their support and those at Lakeshore Hospice of Mandeville for their thoughtful, compassionate care. Betty was a 1968 graduate of West Jefferson High School. She previously lived in Slidell and grew up in Gretna, LA (McDonoghville).
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expwy, Harvey on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 5 PM to 7 PM. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM.
