Betty Dupuis Laughlin

Betty Dupuis Laughlin passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of William R. Laughlin, Jr. Daughter of the late Mabel Bourgeois Dupuis and Joseph E. Dupuis. Sister of Joel Dupuis and Janette Arnold. Mother of Michael R. Laughlin (Delyndia), Pamela L. LeBlanc (Milton), Donald J. Laughlin (Valerie), and the late William R. Laughlin III and Joseph P. Laughlin. Grandmother of William R. Laughlin IV, Heather M. Laughlin (Michael), Brittany L. McKinnie (Ryan), Logan Laughlin, Kaitlyn Laughlin, Braydan LeBlanc, and Joshua LeBlanc. Great-grandmother of Colin Poche and Madison McKinnie. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was an active parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gretna where she taught CCD for over 30 years. She was a member of Sisters of the Living Word and other prayer groups. She was a local legacy for her famous peanut butter fudge. She loved to spend time with her family and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 12 PM.
