Betty Boudreaux Palmer

Betty Boudreaux Palmer passed away on November 22, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Alney Palmer. Mother of Lisa Palmer LaBorde (Gary) and Wayne M. Palmer (Lisa). Grandmother of Shannon Ocanas, Brittany Bolton and Cherie LaBorde. Great-grandmother of Jade Pellegal, Steven Pellegal, Adelyn Ocanas and Stella Bolton. Sister of Evelyn Bailey, Delmar Boudreaux, Jr., Lorraine Johnson, Sandra Pruitt and the late Gail Barcelona. Daughter of the late Delmar Boudreaux, Sr. and Viola Babin Boudreaux.
Betty was a Teacher’s Assistant at St. Joseph School in Gretna until the school closed and at Lily White Ruppel Elementary School in Marrero. She was a devout and active parishioner at St. Joseph Church and was a member of the church choir.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 from 8 AM to 10 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gretna for 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Eastern Star Cemetery in Wilson, LA for 2:30 PM.
