Betty Ann Theriot Boudreaux

November 16, 1946 — December 13, 2015

Betty Ann Boudreaux died peacefully on December 13, 2015 in Mandeville,
LA at the age of 69. She leaves behind her daughters Candice (Branden)
and Dana (Bobby); her grandchildren Amry, Christian, Kiley, Quinlan,
Reagan and Cameron. She is also survived by her uncle and aunts Martin
and Edna Rodriguez and Noelie Theriot. Betty was born on November 16, 1946 to Joe and Adel Theriot, who preceded her in death. Betty was an only child, but grew up in a large,
loving and loud extended family. “Betty Boop”, as she was known to many, was a fun loving woman who loved to dance, joke with her friends and recount stories from her family’s
past. When diagnosed with lung cancer in July 2014, she began her fight at
West Jefferson Cancer Center and concluded it at Mary Bird Perkins
Cancer Center in Covington, where she grew to love everyone who
participated in her care. In her last days, she was cared for by the
compassionate staffs of Egan Hospice and Pontchartrain Health Care Center. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
In celebration of Betty’s life, visitors are encouraged to wear purple (her
favorite color) or Betty Boop attire.
