Some of her fondest memories were traveling with her sisters to the casinos and the Smoky Mountains. She always looked forward to the Cambre Christmas parties and crawfish boils. Many memories were made with the Bourgeois family in Grand Isle, Louisiana camping on the beach and enjoying the camp Henry and Beverly owned. She enjoyed attending the sibling fish fries and holiday dinners and she loved all her in-laws like her own siblings. Beverly had a creative side to her as well. She wrote a children’s book, and a song titled December. Beverly was an excellent cook, and everyone looked forward to her chicken and sausage gumbo. She was a devout Catholic and loved praying the rosary daily. The family wants to thank the nurses of Ochsner Westbank (4th Floor) who took such great care of her during this past year. Special thanks to Angela Fountain on the palliative care team for her support and compassion. Beverly was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lafitte, LA until she moved in with her daughter and son-in-law in Gretna.
