Beverly Hymes Gunther

Beverly Hymes Gunther passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of Earl "E.J." Gunther for 47 years. Beloved daughter of the late Miriam and George Hymes. Beloved sister of the late Garland Hymes. Sister in law of Joan Hooks (Lamar) and the late Myra Berthiaume. Also survived by 2 cousins, Mrs. Maxine P. Landry and Cassandra Landry Morphy (Tim). Aunt of Leslie Klos (Jim), Michael Berthiaume (Wednesday), and Louis Brian Berthiaume (Lorie) and Lamar Hooks, Jr. (Natalie). Great aunt of Myra and Mattie Berthiaume and Zachary Klos. Survived by her "bonus daughters" Cathy S. Toepfer and Karin Digiovanni. She found her happiness in ballroom dancing, bargain shopping, playing the penny slot machines and in supporting animal causes. She was a lifelong resident of the Westbank.
