Billy Floyd

Billy Floyd, 82, went to his eternal home on Sunday, August 12, 2012. Beloved husband of Julieta F. Floyd and son of the late John J. and Emily E. Floyd of Perkins, OK. Brother of Catherine F. Branson, Hazel F. Turner, and the late Kenneth Floyd. Father of William "Bill" Floyd, Elizabeth "Betty" Rees and husband, Danny, and Charles "Mike" Floyd and wife, Darlene. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: William and Brian Floyd, Dan, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Jason Rees, and Dane and Cody Floyd--along with five great grandchildren. He was a veteran and served in Japan, Korea, and the Phillipines, joined the Air Force Reserve at the Naval Air Station in Belle Chasse, LA where he was a flight engineer, retired, then served as a Quality Assurance Inspector at NASA in New Orleans. He was active in the BCVFD, KC’s, and the VFW. Funeral arrangements will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Church in Belle Chasse, LA on Thursday, August 16, 2012. Family viewing at 9 a.m., general viewing at 10 a.m., Mass at 12:00, then interment in the church cemetery.
