Blaine Thomas Tompson a tug boat captain with Crescent Towing, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 age 37. Lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Beloved son of the late Deanna Ott Tompson and the late Thomas Larkin Tompson, Jr. Brother of Thomas L. Tompson, III (Jolynn). Grandson of Helen D. Brown and the late Thomas L. Tompson, Sr., and the late Mr. & Mrs. George P. Ott, Sr. Uncle of Cameron Tompson. Nephew of Pam and Lynn Ott. Cousin of Karen and George (Ana) Ott. Blaine was a graduate of De LaSalle High School. He was an employee of Crescent Towing and Salvage Company (capt.). He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 PM until 10PM and resume Tuesday from 8AM until funeral time.
