Blaine Leon White Sr.

Blaine Leon White, Sr., passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012. Beloved and adoring husband of Bernadine White for 16 years. Father of Jessica White, Blaine White, Jr., Jamie White and step father of Brandy Bartholomew and her life long partner, the late Charles Pfanschmidt, Sr. Grandfather of Robin and Reanna Bray, Thomas James, Clarissa Carsley and “YieYie” of Charles “Tut’ Pfanschmidt, Jr. Brother of Larry Miele, Sr. (Marlene Miele), Melinda Cassell and Ferdie Cassell. Best Friend of Allen Wayne McDonald. Son of Blaine Lincoln White and Julia Tanner White. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Mr. White was a retiree of Avondale Shipyard having completed 30 years of very dedicated service. He was an honorably discharged Vietnam veteran, a purple heart recipient among many other medals. A native of Charlotte, NC and a resident of Westwego, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 3 PM.
