Blanchard A. Lawson passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Betty Daigle Lawson. Father of Annie L. Steen, Anthony B. Lawson, Irene L. Carle and Lynn L. Haas. Son of the late Lucille Dufrene Lawson and Roy Lawson. Brother of Ruby Vidal, Mildred Oldham, Jerry Donald Lawson and the late Hazel Haley, Shirley Ballard, JoAnn Burns, Maizie Bruce, Curtis, George and John Roy Lawson. Father in law of Donnie Haas, Darlene and the late Don Steen Sr. and John Carle. Survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Blanchard was a lifelong resident of Algiers and lived in Loranger for the past 4 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 11AM until 1PM.
