Bobbie Jean Barrett

Bobbie Jean Barrett fell asleep surrounded by numerous loved ones at Ochsner Westbank Hospital to be received by Jesus and her husband, Tony and her daughter, Debbie Ann on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the age of 78. Psalm 90:10 reads, Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear and we fly away. Bobbie is the beloved wife of the late Anthony T. Barrett, Sr. of 61 years. Beloved father of Linda Marie Mott (Nolan), Anthony T. Barrett (Tina), David A. Barrett (Wanita), Robert P. Barrett (Tracey), Alvin Anthony Matherne, Son/Grandson (Dawn), Carly Jacques, daughter/grand daughter and the late Debbie Ann Jacques (Survived by husband, Floyd). Daughter of the late David Swain and Doris Berhel Swain. Sister of Gloria Dean Yost and the late Jimmy Dale Swain, David Allen Swain, Mary Katherine Henderson and Alice Yvonne Rome. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. A lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Family and friends, also members of West Marrero Baptist Church are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 6PM until 12 Midnight. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 8AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
