Boyd John Hammond

Boyd John Hammond, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the age of 56. Beloved son of the late Florence Ann Hymel Hammond and Robert E. Hammond, Jr. Loving brother of Robert E. Hammond, III (Toni), Dianne Hammond, Dwayne Hammond, Kathy Grossmann (Phil) and the late Karen DiGiovanni (Joe). Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and nephews, a host of friends and co-workers. He will also be sadly missed by his beloved canine companions, Stripes and Remy.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9 AM until 11AM. The Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
