Brandy L. Chaisson

Brandy L. Chaisson, 28, gained her angel wings at 11:36 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2012. Brandy was born July 19, 1984 and was a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. She was a very kind and gentle soul; She had a loving, generous heart and an infectious smile that brought so much joy to our family. She is survived by her son, Alex Serra; her mother and step-father, Mona Chaisson, Earl Dugas; her father Douglas Talbot; her life long companion, Omar Moya; her sister and fiance’, Becky Chaisson, Ashley Simon, two nephews, Todd and Dillon Trosclair; her aunt Doborah MacCracken; her aunt and uncle Sandra and Curtis Billiot; and her aunt Lisa Meyer. She had numerous cousins and many friends whom she considered family. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Mike and Betty Meyers and grandmother Anna Ogeron. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 AM. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 11 AM. Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
