Brenda LaCava Helgason passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the age of 66. Beloved mother of John A. Helgason IV (Jennifer). Daughter of the late Catherine DeCorte LaCava and Joseph LaCava. Sister of Catherine Rivas, Diane Santiago, Mike LaCava, Deborah Lepine and the late Jack LaCava and Joseph LaCava. Grandmother of Catherine Helgason and John Helgason V. Also survived by her many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11am.
