Brenda Ann Sandifer Juneau, age 79, passed away on December 8, 2022. Wife of 61 years to René Eden Juneau, of Marksville, LA and resident of Harvey, LA. Mother of Kayren Juneau Blanchard (Jeff) and Matthew Eden Juneau (Jamie). Grandmother of Alexander Joseph “A.J.” ”Xander” Lassere and Kaytie Lynn Blanchard. Brenda was born on November 7, 1943 in New Orleans to the late Harvey Byrd Sandifer Sr. of Liberty, MS and the late Rita Agnes Hotard Sandifer of Houma, LA. Sister of Bruce G. Sandifer (Lynn), the late Barbara S. O’Mary (the late Ed), the late Harvey Sandifer Jr. “Sandy” (the late Sheila), and the late Warren Sandifer (the late Dottie). She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, ex-neighbors, classmates and friends who are like family. Brenda was a high school graduate of St. Joseph’s Catholic School in New Orleans, Class of 1961. She was a parishioner of St. Martha Catholic Church in Harvey for 46 years. She belonged to the Married & Single Catholics Over Thirty (MASCOTs), and she was past President of the American Legion Post 350 Auxiliary as well as Secretary/Treasurer, Chaplin, Vice-President and member for 24 years. She held a membership to the WWII Museum in New Orleans and H2U (Tulane Health to You Organization). In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Louisiana Veterans Home at

; and have masses said at St. Martha Catholic Church in Harvey, Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula, MS, and/or at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Harvey, LA. Friends and family are invited to a funeral mass on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11AM at St. Martha Catholic Church in Harvey, LA. Visitation will begin at 9AM. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park in Avondale, LA.
