Brenda is predeceased in death by her parents, Bennie Hezeau and Harriet Fairchild Hezeau, and also by her husband Dave Nicholson. She grew up in New Orleans and moved to Metairie and Kenner after she married Dave Nicholson.
Brenda is survived by one sister, Janice Hezeau Schrieffer and her nephews, Richard Earl Schrieffer Jr. and Kevin Patrick Schrieffer who loved her, cared for her before her death, and will greatly miss her. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Linda Smith Joffrion and many nieces and nephews.
Brenda graduated from St. Cecilia Grammar School and Francis T. Nichols Sr. High School. She had a career in business.
Brenda enjoyed many activities such as going to Mardi Gras parades and concerts. She also attended Cruising the Coast in Mississippi with her family. She loved eating hamburgers, pizza, and ice cream. She loved football and a highlight was when she won a contest at the Silver Slipper. She received a 3-foot trophy and the title of Mrs. Football.
Visitation will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6500 Kawanee Avenue, Metairie, LA on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10 am to 12 noon, followed by the Celebration of Mass. Interment All Saints Mausoleum (Metairie Cemetery).
