Brian Joseph Cognevich

Brian Joseph Cognevich passed away on June 29, 2015 of a heart attack at the age of 44 years. Beloved son of Nelma Bonnette Oman and Thomas C. Cognevich Sr. Step-son of David Oman and Louise Cognevich. Brother of Thomas Cognevich Jr. (Cherie), Daniel Cognevich, Scott Oman and Angel Woodall (Alan). Uncle of Logan and Megan. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Brian was a gifted mechanic and loved to work on cars and boats. Even as a child, he showed mechanical talent, taking on projects that seemed impossible. He loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors. Brian successfully challenged himself to overcome many of life’s obstacles and was an inspiration to others. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
