Brian George Monfra passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Beloved father of Matt and Cassidy Monfra. Son of Lawrence and the late Betty D. Monfra. Brother of Lawrence “Larry” D. Monfra, Jr., Sue Ellen M. Monfra, and Laurie M. Folse. Brother-in-law of Nancy S. Monfra and Jon S. Folse. Age 54 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Mr. Monfra was a member of the Masonic Order and a Shriner. Relatives and Friends of the Family also employees of Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Omega Hospital, Wegmann Dazet, Sotec, and Superior Supply are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 3500 Ames Blvd, Marrero, LA on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 12 Noon. Visitation will be at church from 9 AM until funeral time. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
