Although born in Houston TX, Brian A. Tingley lived his entire life here among the “Tiger Fans” & “Who Dat Nation”. Born Sept 29th, 1955, he reached the young age of 59. Brian traded his earthly life for a spiritual life, doing his most favorite thing – celebrating the LSU Tiger’s victory over Ole Miss Saturday, October 25th, 2014. He was a graduate of BCHS and worked most his entire adult life as a dispatcher for Packard Truckline off Engineers Road in Belle Chasse. He was an honorable & loyal husband, brother & son. He was a friend to whomever he met. He had a deep passion for Jazz music and a love of his Greek heritage food, an extensive knowledge of politics on both a national & local level – we know he’s saying “Damn I will miss casting my vote!”
Although truly he lived a simple life, he wouldn’t have ever imagined that his life through death would have brought him so much attention from the thousands upon thousands of fellow LSU Fans & Friends by the style in which he left this world. We’re all absolutely positive as he crossed the goal posts of heaven the Angels were playing the Tiger Anthem for him.
Brian is survived by his lovely wife Hai T. Tingley and her beautiful family, his Mother & Father Constance & Earle F. Tingley, Jr., brother Ross, sisters Lexie Tingley Fuller & Melissa “Lisa” Tingley Crowder-Borne, many nieces & nephews and longtime best friend’s Patrick & Patricia Dykes. We all bid you farewell & good night. Sleep now for we will see you in a short while.
